The Candidate Experience (CE) team is involved in everything related to people using Tempo to find their next work adventure. We offer support and guidance and play a pivotal role in ensuring our community of exceptional candidates are engaging with the platform, are set up for success, have a valuable and rewarding experience, and are championed internally as we continue to develop our product, as well as externally 🦄

🚀 Profile guidance

We want to make sure candidates are getting the most out of their time on Tempo, and this can largely depend on how strong their profiles are. We’ve got a ton of resources out there that outline top tips and tricks on how to build the perfect profile, ranging from blog posts, video guidance and a step by step guide on our Candidate Hub!

We believe candidates are so much more than their CV, so we’re always shouting about the importance of highlighting key skills, hobbies and any extra-curricular activities candidates are involved in outside of work! We’re also happy to provide advice to candidates if they’re looking for advice on building out certain parts of their profile; we’re super accessible via the phone, email and live chat.

👀 Easy access to CE

Our platform is self-service, but we want to ensure candidates had an easy way to ask us questions and access CE if needed. We’ve implemented a live-chat feature which allows candidates to speak with a member of CE in real-time, as well as a knowledge base which covers all things candidate-related on Tempo. Fun fact: our average response time is under 2 minutes 🔥

🤗 Supporting our candidates

It’s important to us that our candidates feel supported throughout their placements, and ensure they have a point of contact within CE they can reach out to if needed. In the first few weeks of a candidate's placement, a member of the CE team will reach out to check in on how they’re settling into their new role. For candidates who are hired into permanent roles, or temporary positions >2 months, they’ll also receive some delicious brownies to celebrate landing their new role 😋

We’ve also partnered up with Collective Benefits, an awesome insurance platform which allows our temporary workers access to several perks and benefits throughout their placement! Some of these benefits include:
